The Dr. Robert W. Peters Endowed Scholarship in Civil Engineering was established by Dr. Robert W. Peters to support graduate students in Civil Engineering in the UAB School of Engineering.

Eligibility

Recipients of the Dr. Robert W. Peters Endowed Scholarship in Civil Engineering will be selected from applicants meeting the following eligibility requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in the degree-granting graduate program in civil engineering at UAB
  • Applicants should demonstrate solid academic promise and achievement and have earned at least an overall 3.0 grade point average in coursework completed prior to the time of application
  • Preference will be given students for whom affordability may be an obstacle and who might otherwise be unable to attend the University
