Dubai city life
Dubai is the city of superlatives and, in the same time, the area where man created even 200 islands, in different shapes. In weekend and after classes Dubai always has the sites to surprise you with, even if we are talking about skyscrapers, malls, desert surroundings or beaches.
In Dubai you may see camels on the street, as well as a seven-stars hotel or even Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world and twice as tall as the Empire State Building from New York. Shopping is a common activity in Dubai, which is also rich in commercial centres. The world’s largest centre of its kind is the Dubai Mall and includes an aquarium and underwater zoo, an ice rink and an indoor theme park.
After you see the city’s wonders, you should also admire the Creek that crosses Dubai, Deira commercial centre, the Bur Dubai historic district, Sheikh Zayed Road with its stunning buildings and, of course, the Southwest of the city, where the Dubai Marina and other new structures stand. Jumeira and Satwa are core areas of culture and socialization.
Dubai also hosts events such as the annual Dubai Shopping Festival and famous movies were set in Dubai. Beach parties, VIP clubs and lounges are the most common places where students and young people enjoy nightlife.
