Hanze University Groningen

The International Student Team (ISTeam) will help you to get in contact with current international students who know from their own experience how exciting it is to study in a foreign country, which difficulties one may face, and what is important to know prior to arrival.

Most international students that come to Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen want to find accommodation in the city of Groningen. In the Netherlands, the organisation of student accommodation differs from that in many other countries. Most universities do not own residence halls or other types of student accommodation. Instead, Dutch students find their own accommodation on the private market.

The Hanze Library is open to all full-time and part-time students and to those who attend postgraduate or other courses offered by Hanze UAS Professionals and Business. Students and staff can use the HMC's facilities at their own location, but they also have access to the other branches.

AON has developed a student package covering all the above: the 'Complete ICS-package' especially for international students coming to study in the Netherlands. Representatives of AON will be present on our Welcome Day.
