Learn more about the Global Student Satisfaction AwardsThe International Center at the Hochschule Worms works hard to make sure students who are new to Germany have all the support and advice they need in order to make the most of their time in Worms.
With its web based housing portal, the International Center can assist you in finding an accommodation in Worms for the time of your exchange. However, due to the large number of exchange students and the limited offer, we are only able to offer our accommodation service on a first-come-first-serve-basis. The International Center acts as an intermediary between you and the landlord/landlady. The details regarding the rental contract etc. are to be discussed directly with your landlord/landlady.
Student groups and sports clubs, many organised through the student group AStA, offer a wide range of organisations to join. Student clubs are popular ways for new students to make friends, both German and international.
The Hochschule Worms puts on several events of its own, such as the "Hochschule Worms-Ball", the cabaret and music-filled SHOWABEND, and an international day for students to celebrate their different cultures, traditions and cuisines with our University students and the citizens of Worms.
For students, Worms has more than just a strong academic culture to offer – the social atmosphere and night-life here are alive and varied. The Taberna bar and café is run by students for students, and it hosts parties and regular film screenings.
The study experience was quite amazing, while we were studying on campus, but when its move to online as a result Covid 19 it wasn't that easy, but tbe the University admistration were really helppful in assisting student to cope with the situation.
It was absolutely amazing, while we were on campus, but when the covid restriction was in place and we were forced to study online, it was a bit difficult, yet the university authorities are were very supportive. especially the coordinator of our program, she is amazing, there is no amount of words to describe her sacrifice.
Fulfills the meaning of being international. Lecture contents be satisfied with syllbus. Learning languages other than German and English highly possible with lots of lecture options. Social activities by student clubs beneficial and didactic.
