Codarts Experience Year 1
My first three months at Codarts have exceeded my expectations. I have already learnt so much and am loving the course.
Dance education in Codarts Rotterdam
My experience in Codarts is a very positive one. I really love the diversity of the students, coming from all over the world. Everyone in itself is very special, you can let yourself be inspired while finding your own art and way of dancing. Teachers are very prepared, willing to help and support you in every choice you make. We (in the dance department), get to work as a real dance company in the third year of studies. We learn a lot of different pieces from dance performances and we perform them around 50 times in theatres in The Netherlands as well as internationally (USA, Canada, Italy, Poland, Russia etc..). Our program isn't easy, we have classes everyday from the morning till the evening, and often to keep our bodies entertained we have to keep exercising even after the formal classes hours. But at the end we can also say that we're very prepared for our future profession, and mostly all the students are able to find jobs after the graduation.

Codarts is the link between talents and the international professional field. In the end, everything is about connections. Connections between artist and colleagues, between artist and audience, between artist and society. Obviously, the international professional field comes to Codarts to scout talent. Aside from that, Codarts is in close contact with numerous local, national and international organisations in order to make those talents be seen and heard outside its own walls as well.
Housing services
Finding accommodation in Rotterdam can be a challenge. For this reason, Codarts has partnered with HousingAnywhere.com to make sure you can book your room with priority and in complete safety. Only if you successfully find a room, a small booking fee will be charged. You can also use HousingAnywhere to offer your room to an incoming student during your time abroad. In this way, you avoid paying double rent and you can move back into your place upon your return.
Library services
At Codarts, students are being trained to become high qualified performers and teachers in music, dance and circus arts. This inspiring place has a great library with an extensive collection in the fields of music, dance, circus, arts education, arts therapies, research and related subjects, which you can use during your study.
