My Alma Mater is a top tier place to study science and technology, alas, it lacks some good sponsorship to develop its Philological programs. Unfortunately, my University has poor variety of foreign language professors, we have a few, who are best at their subject of study, though due to a massive flow of students, it does cause some difficulties with studies. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere there and a friendly community. My university also provides with opportunities of participation in conferences, foreign forums and semester-length programs. I suppose it is at its first stage of a great faculty and there's more to prosper and expand.

In my case my experience was good, i studied economics in russian language so the difficulty (as a Spanish language born) was hard, but It made me strong and not afraid to learn other languages and then study in that language, of course one of the main reasons that i quit from the university was because of the current political situation, the sanctions affected a lot the value of the Russian diploma so that was the reason for my decision to search for better options. Clases were difficult because of the language, but they were professional and my professors were open to questions and doubts from me and my classmates, talking about them, they were really nice, i live an internationalization that many people are afraid of, Russian citizens are cold people in winter, but in the summer flourish and bloom, i will never forget how the university campus changed so good in the spring and summer seasons. My time in the Russian Federation was priceless and i understood that my future was to study and live abroad.

Nikolai Lobachevsky Scientific Library is a gem of the University. It was established at the end of the 18th century. During its 200-year history, the library has accumulated over five million volumes, including 150 thousand old and rare units.

Russia has a strong history in competitive gymnastic disciplines such as Rhythmic gymnastics and all of our UNN instructors have a vast knowledge of how to get the best out of a person. There are many gyms in Nizhny Novgorod with UNN having one of the most comprehensive gym facilities and some of the best instructors’ in the city.
The Student Council encourages international students’ self-actualization. Its main task is to raise the social role of international students and their activity in the educational, scientific and social life of both the Faculty and the University.
