Portuguese Language and Culture Courses

Polytechnic Institute of Bragança offers a complete and flexible technical and higher education on Portuguese language and culture. It is designed to receive international students with or without any proficiency in the Portuguese language. According to his/her proficiency and curriculum, the international students can follow a comprehensive training and diploma scheme on Portuguese language and culture, including the social and economics issues in the Portuguese Speaking Countries, like Brasil, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guiné-Bissau, São Tomé and Príncipe and East Timor.

IPB is running a well established 1-year long Portuguese Language and Culture course (PLC) for international students. The course is designed for students enrolled in foreign Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to complement their education in the Portuguese language and also for other students and the general public interested in learning the Portuguese language. Some of the course units are offered together with the Portuguese students, allowing a better integration and a real Portuguese cultural and language environment. At the end of this 1-year long course, students will receive a certificate according to his/her Portuguese language proficiency.
