From the experience and expertise of an innovative faculty from Universities and industry worldwide, participants in the Executive Programmes gain the analytical, functional and interpersonal skills necessary for success in an increasingly complex, global business and management environment.

Therefore all courses are geared towards ICT or Utility Management and combine theoretical know-how & practical approaches. Close collaboration and networking is moreover permanently encouraged throughout all our Executive Programmes and your international network of colleagues and friends will be enriched and enlarged.

The quality of the iimt Executive Programmes is our highest goal and the modular structure offers a high rate of flexibility. The iimt is offering the following Executive Programmes: Executive MBA, Executive Diploma, Executive CAS, Specialised Courses and Power Packages in ICT or Utility Management.

The Executive MBA provides participants with the analytical, functional, and interpersonal skills necessary for success in an increasingly complex and global ICT as well as Utility business and management environment.

The programmes are organised in weekly blocks (Monday to Saturday), with each block consisting of two modules. Half of the class time is devoted to the acquisition of new knowledge in the subject area concerned, while the remaining time is allocated to practical work and case studies (in ICT or Utility Management).

Professors and lecturers with a strong academic and teaching record are acting as lecturers in the iimt Executive Programmes. A healthy mix of academic and professional staff is chosen in order to provide the participants with a solid base of theoretical knowledge combined with up-to-date case studies and insights from the ICT and Utility sector. The iimt has outstanding instructors, including advisers, researchers, and practitioners drawn from leading Universities, business schools, industry, and government. They bring an enthusiasm and a functional expertise developed over years of experience in their fields to the classroom, together with stimulating real-life perspectives and insights.

The iimt Executive MBA is designed to enable the parallel pursuit of professional activity and studies. Thanks to the modular structure of the programmes, you are given the possibility to start at different periods of the year and the length of your study programme. All courses are held once a year.

As the Chair is a University unit, its research and lectures are founded on academic principles. The Chair holds active roles in several national and international organisations. Its research is mainly driven by industrial projects. Therefore, the Chair is closely working with academic and industrial partners.

The research team focuses on bridging the gap between theory and practice. Thus its research is not confined to the classical "ivory tower". Based on the Fribourg ICT-Management framework the research team aims to answer challenging questions in the following research fields:
