Sabancı Business School

Under the guidance of one of Turkey’s leading family foundations, the Sabanci Foundation, the Sabanci Group established Sabanci University in July 1994. More than 50 academics from 22 countries, students and private sector leaders participated in the Search Conference in 1995 to decide upon the vision and mission of the university. The University began its first academic year on October 20, 1999.

Sabanci University provides a multidisciplinary education across its three faculties. At SU students have the chance to choose their majors after their first or second academic year. This allows students to decide what program to study at university with greater understanding about higher education and about their own academic and career interests. 

With its world class faculty, globally ranked education in English, and affordable tuition fees compared to similarly ranked universities across the world, SU is the place to study in Turkey. The university also provides strong scholarships for students of all nations and all education fields, guaranteeing a high quality accessible education for all. 

Sabanci University positions itself to be one of the most innovative and research-oriented universities in Turkey. As part of its philosophy, the university aims to direct its research efforts primarily towards applied and strategic research with the objectives of advancing knowledge, supporting teaching and contributing to the progress of the community. The university boasts a large number of laboratories and research centers, including the most advanced Nanotechnology Research and Application Center in the region. All research projects are conducted within the faculties (Faculty of Engineering & Natural Sciences, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, and Sabanci Business School).

Graduates of Sabanci University are highly valued across all sectors and many countries. 90% of graduates find employment within a year of their graduation, and our over 7000 alumni have gone on to start their careers or do their postgraduates studies at some of the best companies and universities in the world.
