History
Founded in 1998, the University of Milano-Bicocca has grown rapidly to become a central figure in the higher education and research landscape. The University's modernity is reflected in its innovative approach to teaching and its commitment to fostering an inclusive and future-oriented academic environment.
Education
The University of Milan-Bicocca has more than 38,000 enrolled students and offers a wide range of opportunities for academic and personal development, including 84 bachelor's and master's degree programmes, 22 doctoral programmes, 60 professional masters, and 39 specialisation schools.
The range of educational offerings, their multidisciplinary approach, and emphasis on soft skills aim to develop not only competent professionals but also informed citizens, prepared to tackle the challenges of an ever-evolving society, both nationally and internationally.
Research
The University of Milano-Bicocca’s research and study centres promote and enhance research across a range of scientific and cultural fields, encouraging analysis and in-depth investigation as part of a cross-disciplinary approach.
Career
The Job Placement office offers the Career Counselling Service to both students and graduates of Bicocca University. During the one-hour meeting, the career advisors of the Job Placement Office will discuss various topics concerning today's job market and career opportunities, support you in defining your professional goal and help you write a successful CV and cover letter.

Campus life
The Bicocca Campus is made up of various buildings stretching between the city pole and the Biomedical pole of Monza, a few kilometres from Milan. Available to students are numerous cabled and equipped classrooms, computer workstations, full WiFi coverage, dozens of equipped study spaces, libraries, residences, canteens and internal transport services (free shuttle bus and a fleet of bicycles to move between the buildings without polluting).
Sports facilities
CUS Bicocca is the University Sports Centre and is accessible by students of the University of Milano-Bicocca.CUS Bicocca is one of the university sections of CUS Milano, which oversees the organisation of all university sports activities in Milan on behalf of the University Sport Committees.It organises events and tournaments for all students, including those who don’t belong to official teams:futsal tournaments, mountain hikes and courses of all types.
