Overview

Students are provided with extensive specialised training focused on the areas of computer science, mathematics, physics and statistics, giving them a thorough understanding of the theoretical aspects and advanced techniques of artificial intelligence and its use in science, industry and technological innovation. They will also receive the necessary training both in the organisational/management field, to understand, manage and integrate information and communication technologies in the company, and in the legal field, to understand the constraints that limit the socially acceptable use of artificial intelligence.

The Artificial Intelligence for Science and Technology course at University of Milano - Bicocca  also provides an opportunity for the students to supplement their general specialist training with further knowledge and skills needed to apply artificial intelligence in specific areas (industrial automation, environmental monitoring, embedded systems, biomedical and health systems, modelling of complex systems, systems for physics and quantum technologies).

Master’s graduates will therefore be able to contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions based on advanced artificial intelligence techniques for complex applications in both the public and private sectors
