Education
As the leading national institution in business and economics, the FELU provides education at all levels (undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, executive and lifelong learning) and in most key areas of specialisation.It offers Bologna type programmes in all three cycles (3+2+3 structure). The FELU decided to internationalise its programmes by introducing an extensive number of English tracks at all levels of study. It has introduced a number of double and joint degree programmes with renowned schools and opened campuses also abroad.Programme development forms an important part of the FELU’s strategy as it supports internationalisation, the involvement of the business community, and the achieving of excellence.
Career
The Faculty of Economics (FELU) established the Centre for Student and Career Services (CERŠ) in the year 2000.CERŠ plays a dual role: to prepare students to enter the job market and to enable the FELU’s graduates easier access to employment while simultaneously providing Slovenian and international companies with access to quality human resources with an economics and business education background.

The FELU has a growing number of international undergraduate and graduate students. They benefit from the challenging curriculum we offer, our innovative research efforts, and the opportunity to live abroad and experience different cultures.We offer 15 curriculums in English for all academic programmes: undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes. There are a number of dual degree programmes that offer students an opportunity to obtain a second degree from one of our partner institutions.For incoming students, the FELU offers over 80 carefully designed courses taught in English that attract over 500 international students every year.

Library services
The Central Economics Library is the leading and largest scientific and academic library for business and economics studies in Slovenia. It was founded in 1947 and is an active member of the national library and information system COBISS and the national library consortium COSEC. The library houses some 245,000 print books and serials.
Medical services
Foreign students coming from the EU member countries and the countries of the European economic region should have the E 128 form, E 111 form or E-card. The document type depends on the authorized insurance agency of the country of their origin. Namely, the students should contact the authorized insurance agency, where they have been insured, and ask for one of the above-mentioned forms.
Campus life
The capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, is a relatively large central European city situated between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea with approximately 300,000 inhabitants. It is the political and cultural heart of the Slovenian nation and most charming in summer. The visitor’s first impression of Ljubljana is that it is an exceptionally young city as over 50,000 students provide very young vibrations. Many scientists come to Ljubljana because of its university and institutes with solid international reputations

Student clubs
Student organization ŠOU / International office through different kind of activities provide assistance to Slovenian students interested in studies, work placement abroad as well as international students in Ljubljana. ŠOU provides help regarding subsidized student meals, student identity cards and takes care of student social life – weekly meetings, workshops, trips, dinners, parties, visits, sport activities etc. ŠOU also assist students in finding private accommodation by providing some contacts for private accommodation.
Accreditation
Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana (the FELU) is a leading multiple-accredited (AACSB, EQUIS, TEDQUAL) business school in South-East Europe with global teaching and research outreach.
In 2006, the FELU became the first business school in South-East Europe to be awarded with the EQUIS accreditation. Since 2010, the FELU has held both EQUIS and AACSB accreditations. T
