Born in 1984, EPITA (from the French Ecole pour l'Informatique et les Techniques Avancées : School of Computer Science & Advanced Techniques) has been steadily gaining a reputation of excellence among multinational companies, which often recruit our students before the end of their studies.
Born with the expansion of new technologies, EPITA has kept pace with their evolution. The courses, though very technical at the beginning, have opened up a great deal even as the technical complexity has increased. EPITA took the opposite approach of the one adopted by most other engineering schools: whereas the latter allowed computer science in to try to give it a place, EPITA brought in the other sciences to join information technology and yet without losing any of its main competences that constitute its strength and identity.
In permanent contact with the business world, EPITA also shares its values: pragmatism, responsible risk-taking, and innovative spirit.
Allowing students to work in optimal conditions is EPITA's first concern. Faculty, administrative staff, technical resources and research facilities are all directed towards the success of EPITA students who are to become the best recognized professionals in their field of expertise.EPITA provides opportunities to be intimately involved in cutting-edge research with an intellectually diverse faculty capable of not only individual academic excellence but that can also create and apply knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary research team.
As one of France's leading science and engineering schools, EPITA is committed to ensuring that all students have meaningful opportunities for personal growth and professional achievement in the future.
Built around the real needs of the business world, the EPITA curriculum is designed to meet its expectations.
Being so involved in the teaching content and process, companies logically offer among the highest salaries upon graduation and year after year, they ranked the school among the very best.
Below you will find scholarships related to EPITA School of Engineering and Computer Science. Distinction can be made between scholarships provided by the University and those provided by independent providers.

The french life as an international student is advanture but sometimes financial struggle pulls you back from a good and healthy student life experience and put us into a financial loop where fees, rents and food becomes an ultimate reponsinbility and kills our dreams and peace.
Haven't Started yet, will start soon. As per reviews I heard its a very good university with lots of hands on technical experience.
My study experience has been a meaningful journey of learning, self-discovery, and steady growth. As a Computer Science student, I have had the opportunity to build both my technical skills and personal discipline, while preparing myself for a career in software development. What I really liked most about my experience was the balance between theory and practical learning. Courses exposed me to core computing concepts, while projects and assignments allowed me to apply what I learned in real scenarios. Working on projects such as web applications and backend systems helped me understand how classroom knowledge translates into real-world solutions. I also appreciated how studying pushed me to develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and the ability to learn independently—skills that are very important in the tech field. Another positive aspect was the growth I experienced beyond academics. Managing deadlines, group projects, and personal responsibilities taught me time management, teamwork, and resilience. Over time, I became more confident in my abilities and clearer about my career goals in software development. However, there are areas that can be improved. Sometimes, limited access to advanced tools, learning resources, or more hands-on practical sessions slowed down deeper understanding. More industry-focused training, real-life case studies, and consistent practical exposure would greatly enhance the learning experience and better prepare students for the job market. Overall, I would summarise my study experience as challenging but rewarding. It has shaped my mindset, strengthened my technical foundation, and prepared me for the next stage of my career. Despite the challenges, the experience has been worth it, and it has played a major role in who I am becoming as a professional and as an individual.
