Our cutting edge resource discovery tool, SOLAR, allows access to all our academic resources from a single interface, including more than 365,000 books, 35,000 e-journals and 600,000 e-books and several special collections and archives.

The University's licence agreements mean that some software titles are available for distribution from IT Services, or at discounted prices for use either on campus or at home. Personal or home use is subject to compliance with the supplier's terms and conditions.

Health Services

• Student Life work in partnership with NHS services in the community to ensure that you get the care and support that you need while you study at Salford.

• In order to make sure that you are able to access medical treatment as soon as possible when you need it, it is recommended that you register with a GP as soon as you arrive at University.
