The University of Lille is located near several major metropolitan areas and European capitals (Paris, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Cologne, Dortmund, etc.).
Its university campuses are located in 8 towns in the metropolitan area, and even beyond with the Wimereux marine station. Staff and students have access to an extensive public transport network, with all campuses and research sites being located less than 5 minutes from a metro station and less than 30 minutes from each other.

It was a great experience, one of the best of my life. It wasn't all perfect, but overall I loved it. I saw an other culture, I traveled, I learned a lot. Definitely, it worth to take your chance and do this :)
Everything was nice, especially the International Office. The only thing I found uncomfortable was the fact that each course was only giving 3 ECTS. Very clean and organized university.
We had some great professors, especially the guests who were part of actual compnanies and came to share their experience with us even though some other were not that good. The facilities of the Economic sciences are quite alright and the library is fantastic (was opened in 2016 if I'm right, so it's quite new), there are plenty of documentation, rooms to do private group...
