NYU Abu Dhabi, which welcomed its inaugural class in 2010, was established in partnership with NYU and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and founded upon a shared understanding of the essential roles and challenges of higher education in the 21st century.

The ERB supports advanced research and cross-disciplinary collaborations in the sciences and engineering, housing labs organized around multidisciplinary areas of research, extensive core facilities, and instructional labs.
Students can borrow computers, cameras, noise-canceling headphones, iPads, and other equipment for work and leisure.
Campus life
The campus was designed to promote interaction between living and learning, research and teaching, the disciplines as well as faculty, students, and staff. You will have access to research laboratories, classrooms, art and music-making spaces, and other facilities that enrich the day-to-day life of our community members.
Sports facilities
NYU Abu Dhabi's full complement of indoor and outdoor fitness facilities ensure that our community of students, staff, and faculty can enjoy competitive and recreational sports year-round.

- Ladies-only Studio: A private environment with a wide variety of similar equipment for the NYUAD female-identifying community.
