Positive academic experience
I had a very positive academic experience during my studies in journalism and communication at ISIC (Institute of Journalism and Communication). The program provided solid theoretical foundations combined with practical training, helping me develop strong analytical, writing, and communication skills. Unfortunately, ISIC was not available in the list of institutions on the platform, which led me to select the University of Rabat for technical reasons only. This choice does not reflect my actual place of study… Overall, my academic journey was enriching, demanding, and well aligned with my professional goals.
Life at UIR
My experience at Université Internationale de Rabat (UIR) while pursuing my Master’s degree was both enriching and challenging in a positive way. From the beginning, I appreciated the modern campus and the professional atmosphere. The infrastructure is really impressive, and studying in such a well-equipped environment motivated me to take my academic work more seriously. What I liked the most was the practical approach to learning. Many courses were not just theoretical; we worked on case studies, group projects, and real-world applications. This helped me develop analytical and critical thinking skills, especially when dealing with complex financial and managerial topics. The professors were generally supportive and approachable, and several of them had strong professional backgrounds, which added real value to their lectures. I also enjoyed the diversity of students. Being surrounded by motivated classmates from different backgrounds created a competitive yet collaborative environment. Group work sometimes felt demanding, but it taught me how to manage teamwork, deadlines, and communication effectively. Of course, the program was intense, and balancing coursework, presentations, and exams required strong discipline and time management. However, this pressure helped me grow academically and personally. Overall, my Master’s experience at UIR Rabat played a key role in shaping my professional mindset and preparing me for the job market. It was a demanding journey, but one that I genuinely value and would choose again.
A Challenging road
