History

  • The Ron Joyce Centre for Business Studies, established in 2008, focuses on developing partnerships with businesses to provide Commerce students with experiential learning opportunities, including mentorships and summer internships after their third-year of study.

Education

  • The primary objective of the Commerce program is to explore with students the nature of the business world, and thus help them acquire administrative knowledge and skills. 
  • Studies focus on the process of effective problem-solving and decision-making in the business environment through the development of management systems, which combine quantitative analysis and human judgment.

Career

  • You get business experience during the summer with our Summer Student Internship Program. You also learn about the field you are interested in, network, and receive advice on your careers in the Career Mentorship Program.
