History
Founded in 1950, the Florida State University College of Business is one of the nation’s youngest business schools, yet its reputation for excellence has helped it become one of the largest. Consistently ranked as a top business school by U.S. News & World Report, the college has several programs ranked among the nation’s Top 10.
Education
In addition to its rigorous curriculum and strong classroom experience, the college provides students with opportunities outside the classroom through student and professional organizations, corporate trips, competitions and industry-specific career fairs. Students also have the option of earning professional designations while still in school.

The Student Leadership Council (SLC) advances the preeminence of the College of Business and promotes student engagement, collaboration and connection both within the college and among the broader stakeholder community. The mission of the Council is built in alignment with the goals of the college's dean and the College of Business Board of Governors.
Housing services
A residence hall is more than just a place to lay your head. It's the center of your collegiate life, a hub of social activity where new friendships are forged. Living on-campus is the best way to get involved, meet new people, and give yourself a leg up in the class room. It's a fact that students living on campus earn higher GPAs. With over a dozen residence halls on campus, you're sure to find one that fits your own personal style.
ICT services
Information Technology Services is the central IT organization for Florida State University, providing IT support and technology leadership to a diverse community of more than 50,000 students, faculty, staff, alumni and retirees.
Campus life
Legacy Hall, the new building for the College of Business, is a showcase facility – one that provides more instructional space, fosters connections and collaboration, and integrates learning with the latest technologies.The result is a transformational educational experience.
Student clubs
There are many student clubs, organizations and fraternities affiliated with the College of Business that provide students with opportunities to get involved! While some clubs and organizations are more targeted to a particular interest or industry, most are open to all business students regardless of major.
Accreditation
The College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). AACSB accreditation is the most widely sought benchmark of quality worldwide. Fewer than 5 percent of business schools worldwide achieve this accreditation. The college’s Accounting program also secured an additional specialized AACSB accreditation held by only 186 institutions worldwide.
