Milgard School of Business

• Established in 1994, the Milgard School of Business offers a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (BABA), a Master of Accounting (MAcc) which will become a Master of Science in Accounting (MSAcc) effective autumn 2021, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Cybersecurity & Leadership, and a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA). We also offer a variety of undergraduate minors.

• In winter 2018, we launched a contest open to all business students to develop a concept, mnemonic, or design that embodied the school's new mission. 
• Based on over 15 student submissions (undergraduate and graduate students), three winners were selected by a committee of faculty, staff and alumni. 

• The winning concepts were professionally reimagined and redesigned resulting in the above graphic. This iterative process included feedback from students, faculty, staff, business leaders, alumni, and the campus community. 
• The “e” on the left side is an upward spiral staircase wrapped in UW colors of purple and gold, representing life long learning nurtured at the Milgard School. 

Within this framework, the Office of Research in collaboration with campus partners aims to:

• Work with faculty to identify funding opportunities for individual research interests as well as high priority areas as identified by our campus leadership and community partners.
• Support the full proposal development and submission process
• Support faculty scholarship and professional development
• Provide research administration support to Research Centers such as the Center for Urban Waters
• Provide guidance on the Research Lifecycle to all active faculty researchers and staff across the UW Tacoma campus

• The Milgard School of Business offers dedicated career management through the Success Center to all Milgard students and alumni.
