EDJ has been training young prospective journalists since 1990.
Over the years, our graduates have enjoyed great successes across the industry including television presenters, editors-in-chief, political, wildlife and sports reporters.
EDJ maintains these links with regular masterclasses from alumni and beyond, giving students access to an even wider base of experience and expertise.
All journalism degree programs taught at EDJ are authentically multimedia. From day one, traditional print, photo, radio and television journalism are studied and practiced in tandem with their modern digital counterparts - web media, social media and mobile journalism (MOJO).
EDJ prides itself on integrating its students into the media. On average, EDJ obtains 350 internships a year from local, national or international editorial teams. Through these internships, students create a professional network that allows them to be hired quickly after graduating.

EDJ is located near the Saint Jean d’Angély university. There are therefore many Private University Residences close to our school.
Some are in partnership with EDJ (Odalys, Nexity).
EDJ is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment:
- Radio studio, control room
- Studio, TV set, autocue
- AFP thread: the source of continuous information produced by Agence France Presse and used by all journalists
- soundproof room to record the voiceover reports
- 27 professional cameras
- 15 Mojo kits for Mobile Journalism
Premises spread over 3 floors. It has professional TV and radio studios. We are located in the heart of Nice, near the port and Old town. Students love the fact they are less than a ten minute walk away from the beach, and the famous Promenade des Anglais. There is sea, sun, mountains, the proximity to Italy, Cannes and Monaco.

EDJ has been recognized by the State since 1995
This recognition was issued by the Rectorate and the Ministry of National Education following an audit of the school and was attested by a decree published in the Journal of Heaven. The recognition of the state is to testify that EDJ participates usefully in the public service of higher education. It makes it possible to welcome bursary qualifying students. This recognition is a guarantee of seriousness of EDJ for all students that enroll.
