L’École du Journalisme Nice is a private journalism school
in the South of France. You practice your job on a daily basis with certified
journalists who share their passion with you. Our textbooks are newspapers,
radio, TV and news sites! Our professional training courses aim to get you into
national and international newsrooms as soon as possible.

About
History
EDJ has been training its students in all forms of journalism professions since 1990. Over 40 current practicing journalists and university professors are present to teach students about their profession. Today, EDJ is one of the most professional journalism schools out there: its courses correspond to the requirements of the profession, and students leave the school as professional journalists.
Education
Students are trained in print media, web and social networks, radio, Mojo (Mobile Journalism), television and photography, which increases their chances of being hired. EDJ is at the front of the game for new media evolution. The work of students is corrected by their teachers who are journalists, to help prepare them for the profession. Of course, learning multiple languages throughout this course is also a huge asset if desiring to work abroad.
Career
EDJ prides itself on integrating its students into the media. On average, EDJ obtains 350 internships a year from local, national or international editorial teams. Through these internships, students create a professional network that allows them to be hired quickly after graduating.

EDJ is located near the Saint Jean d’Angély university. There are therefore many Private University Residences close to our school.
Some are in partnership with EDJ (Odalys, Nexity).

- AFP thread: the source of continuous information produced by Agence France Presse and used by all journalists

Student Life
Campus life
Premises spread over 3 floors. It has professional TV and radio studios. We are located in the heart of Nice, near the port and Old town. Students love the fact they are less than a ten minute walk away from the beach, and the famous Promenade des Anglais. There is sea, sun, mountains, the proximity to Italy, Cannes and Monaco.

Accreditation
EDJ has been recognized by the State since 1995
This recognition was issued by the Rectorate and the Ministry of National Education following an audit of the school and was attested by a decree published in the Journal of Heaven. The recognition of the state is to testify that EDJ participates usefully in the public service of higher education. It makes it possible to welcome bursary qualifying students. This recognition is a guarantee of seriousness of EDJ for all students that enroll.
