Education
In terms of the research aspect, many opportunities are available for PhD students, researchers & teachers-researchers of the TULIP laboratories to submit proposals. (See The TULIP-GS calls section) In terms of teaching aspects, TULIP-GS proposes an internationally minded Master degree (see the TULIP-GS Master degree section).
This degree is based on methods and concepts aimed to understand and to predict how living organisms are affected by their (biotic or abiotic) environment and how they adapt to changes in their environment like climate change.
Research
These various themes are based on the partner laboratories’ Key projects. They were defined at the origin of the LabEx on the basis of the current forces of the seven partner laboratories.
An bisannual internal call for proposal will select New Frontiers projects, aiming at exploring new concepts or technologies or synergies, to allow the long term evolution of the core projects within the TULIP Major Themes of Research.
However, many projects develop over several MTR. These will play a pivotal role, vital to TULIP’s coherence and allow us to define biological models that are key for the integration of the 5 MTRs
Career
Engineer or scientific project manager (mainly in plant breeding, plant protection, plant production, environmental impact studies, ecosystems and biodiversity, pollution control), scientific advisor, teachers / researchers in scientific and technical organizations and institutions, public or private, national or international.

Campus life
The atmosphere in the Pink City is simple and friendly: we like to stroll in the market or the shops, drink a café outside and, of course, put our feet up. It is very easy to get around by bike, metro, tram and bus. Finally, in order not to miss any of the city's cultural richness, you have to open the door of one of its museums and discover the remarkable collections of classical and medieval art, or even contemporary works.
Perpignan is rich in its cultural identity, its heritage labelled "City of Art and History" and "20th Century Heritage".
