The establishment of the University of Tabuk in 1427 AH, 2006 CE, represents an explicit expression of the insightful vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, in spreading higher education in all regions of the Kingdom.

- The main campus of the university is located in the city of Tabuk, in the Tabuk region, which is located in the northwest of the Kingdom.
- The area of the university campus is 12 million square meters, and the university has come a long way in the completion of the university city, and work is still underway to complete the housing project for faculty members and permanent buildings for the faculties of medicine, applied medical sciences, science and business administration.
