Research
Advanced Research Laboratories (ARL) is TCU’s research base, which opened in 2004 with cutting-edge experiment devices. ARL consists of the following four research centers, Exploratory Research Laboratories, Incubation Laboratory, etc., and not only conducts research activities within the university but also actively promotes collaborative research with corporations and other universities and research institutes and tries to promptly share the findings with society. In addition, it is also a major feature that undergraduate and graduate students actively participate in projects.

I am very hard working man and study in Japanese language
My future dream
I have had a passion for fashion since I was a child. Ever since I was in Montessori, I started cutting up the fabrics at home and making them one by one. My mother always scolds me for wasting fabrics. I really love learning about fashion designing. I have completed pattern maker NVQ level 4. I have passed JLPT N5 and N4 exams. I have a passion for fashion designing and want to become a great fashion designer someday and start my own business.

Housing services
Tokyo City University International Dormitory was newly opened in 2019 in order to cultivate human resources who can play an active role globally while developing the ability to understand different cultures by living together with international students and Japanese students.
Library services
Libraries are established in each of the three campuses. The Setagaya Campus Library has about 270,000 books, mainly a wide variety of engineering books, including architecture-related rare books; Yokohama has about 110,000 books/documents mainly on the environment and information; and Todoroki has about 170,000 books including those on urban issues, child education, and literature.
Campus life
Located alongside the Tamagawa River which marks the border between Tokyo and Kanagawa. Setagaya Campus has the largest campus within the 23 special wards of Tokyo of any private STEM university, and is close to popular areas such as Jiyugaoka and Futako-Tamagawa.
This campus was carefully built to be environmentally friendly and was the first educational institution in Japan to receive ISO14001 (Environment) certification. It is not only an eco-campus but as leading edge information facility as well.
