History
Kharkiv Automobile and Highway Institute (KhAHI) was founded by the Decree of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR dated July 23, 1930 No. 237 “On restructuring the universities, technical schools and workers’ schools”. I. O. Besedovskyi, who was the director of Kharkiv Institute of Railway Engineers (KhIRE), was assigned to form the institution and then became the first director of KhAHI.

The pandemic sucks
My experience in the university was going well, I was adapting and gaining friends and getting good grades, the only diffulty was the language barrier but neverthless it was pleasant until the pandemic hit. Our field requires on hands assessement and excercises to understand the process but with the Covid it was impossible to do so . That was the worst thing that happened to me in my journey there. P.S: Try learning the native language it will help you in the long run
