History
Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University is considered one of the oldest universities in Morocco. It was created in 1975, and bears the name of Sultan Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah (Mohamed III), one of the most illustrious Sultans of the reigning Alawite Dynasty (1757-1790). Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University is planted in the city of Fez, a thousand-year-old city of knowledge and spiritual capital.
