Kashan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services

The University was established as a Faculty of Medical Sciences based on the approval of the Council for the Development of Medical Sciences Universities of the country in 1365. In February of the same year, the university practically started its activity with about 20 faculty members and more than 250 students in the fields of medicine and nursing. 

The number of university courses has grown significantly in three decades of activity, so that currently, from 2 titles in 2015, the number of courses has increased to 53 courses, of which 12 courses are specialized clinical assistantships, 5 specialized research doctorate courses, It includes 7 specialized educational doctorates, 15 master's degrees, and 14 professional doctorate, bachelor's, and associate degrees.

The educational campus of the university with five active faculties including medicine, nursing, midwifery, health, paramedicine and dentistry, self-governing campus and ten active research centers with definite and principled approval with the titles of trauma research center, anatomical sciences, physiology (with definite approval) and biochemical research centers and nutrition in metabolic diseases, trauma nursing, reproduction of sex cells, social factors affecting health, health information technology, autoimmune diseases and infectious diseases (with agreement in principle), in a land with an area of ​​more than 200 hectares, is vast.

So far, more than 13,000 students have graduated from the university and they provide valuable services in scientific, medical and health centers of the country. Meanwhile, the training of more than 1800 general doctors and more than 300 specialists is one of the other honors of the university.
