History
IITH in the past couple of years has been highly successful in building tie-ups with leading academic institutions around the globe. IITH enjoys a very special relationship with Japanese Universities and Industries that goes beyond academic and research collaborations. In fact, some of the iconic buildings in IITH campus will carry the signature of Japanese architecture.
Education
ourses that last for a semester are almost a foregone story at IITH. From 14-15 academic year onwards all B.Tech programs started offering courses that are of smaller credits; called the fractal academics; very carefully designed to keep the enthusiasm of the students and to keep them in pace with the state of the art from 1st semester till 8th semester.
Research
IITH has more than 100 research labs. Every year IITH is in the pursuit of adding more and more state of the art equipments in these labs for performing advanced research that cuts across the boundaries of various engineering and science departments and there by promoting interdisciplinary research.
Career
IITH will be the cradle for inventions and innovations. It will advance knowledge and scholarship to students in science, technology and liberal arts, and equip them to handle the challenges of the nation and the world in 21st century.

A Revolutionary Program for Data Science Aspirants
My experience at IIT Madras has been both intense and fulfilling. What stood out the most were the brilliant professors who made even the toughest subjects understandable and engaging. The coursework is rigorous, but it's designed to push you to think critically and apply concepts, not just memorize them. The curriculum is very well-organized and industry-relevant, especially in areas like programming, data analysis, and machine learning. Assignments are regular and thought-provoking, which really helps solidify your understanding. Overall, IIT Madras lives up to its reputation � a place where you're constantly learning, challenged, and inspired. It�s not easy, but the sense of achievement you feel after each term is absolutely worth it.
Broad programs for tech dreamers
It's a great institute, it offers different programs in undergraduate, graduate and post doctorate levels. For the future students, if you want to explore more about yourself, and want to pursue your dreams with better technical knowledge you should definitely go for this university.
Life at GIKI
GIKI offers one of the challenging environment to its students. Faculty and staff are highly cooperative. It’s a fully residential institute. The exams are quite tough, to get good grades student has to put extra effort. GIKI offers merit and financial aid scholarships. In my opinion, paying for GIKI tuition fee is not worth it, if student has plans to stay in Pakistan. But again, GIKI graduates gets better chances of employment in multinational companies within Pakistan. There are many active societies. Life at GIKI is wholesome.

Housing services
The participants can either stay in IITH hostels or hotels with whom IITH has negotiated discounted rates. The institute provides free transport facility from the hostel as well as the below mentioned hotels to the conference venue.
Library services
IITH has a well equipped library with more than 20,000 books and 10,000 periodicals. The books include reference books as well as the ones for regular circulation. IITH also has an internal repository of scholarly publications made by its faculty and students.
ICT services
The Computer Centre provides students, faculty, and staff of IITH various computer and IT related facilities including, but not limited to internet access, LAN, email, VPN, software licenses, data servers, website maintenance, and process automation.
Medical services
The IITH speciality medical center is adjacent to Sampoorna super market situated in the faculty towers area. We have 24*7 emergency services.
Campus life
- IITH as a common dining facility for its students, staff, and faculty. Both north Indian and south Indian varieties are served in the dining hall. The quality of food is regularly inspected by the student representatives and the wardens.
- IITH has limited transport facility for its students, staff and faculty. There are regular services from the nearest railway station Lingampally to the campus and back.
