History
RWTH Aachen University was founded in 1870 as the first Prussian Institute of Technology and was soon recognised as Royal Technical University. This long tradition serves not only as a strong scientific and academic foundation but also as a commitment for the future: RWTH Aachen is a place where the future of our industrialized world is thought out.
Education
Today, RWTH Aachen University is the largest technical university in Germany and one of eleven universities of excellence with more than 500 full professors teaching more than 45,000 students in 157 programs of study.
Research
In today’s world, globally relevant research problems can generally only be solved through interdisciplinary collaboration. In acknowledgement of this development, the School of Business and Economics has tailored its profile to incorporate interdisciplinary themes located at the interface between business and economics on the one hand and engineering and natural sciences on the other. As a further consequence, the School of Business and Economics has recently established four Research Areas. Each of these reflects the tightly-meshed research activities within the School and each is also a point of contact for collaboration with other schools, faculties, and centers at RWTH Aachen.

VERY SATISFIED
My Study Experience I really liked how the program combined theory with practical activities such as moot courts, group discussions, and research projects. These experiences strengthened my legal knowledge and critical thinking skills. I also appreciated the guidance and support from lecturers, which made learning more engaging. One area for improvement would be increasing access to updated legal resources and offering more hands-on training sessions to prepare students for real legal practice. Overall, my study experience was challenging but rewarding, and it has equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to progress in my legal career.
Best decision
One of the best decisions that have been ever made. Definitely recommendable for the student who are aiming to upgrade their lifestyles, careers, knowledge, and experiences. The content of the program is synchronised with today's world, even for the students who are doing their part-time studies can apply the content from the lecture in the next working days!
Researcher's Haven that can be made more fun?
I really like the theoretical completeness of the course. But I would like a bit more practical training included in the coursework.

Accreditation
The school of business and economics at RWTH Aachen University is one of the few faculties in Germany to bear the international seal of approval of the renowned accreditation agency Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
With the re-accreditation the AACSB praised the high quality standard in teaching and research, the innovative ability of the faculty as well as the commitment of the teachers. This applies in particular to the extensive e-learning offerings. Worldwide, only 5% of the economic science faculties are AACSB accredited. In Germany, only nine other faculties or business schools meet the high international standards of the AACSB.
