At the foundation of any project, is an ambition. Ours is to design a new model for a major public engineering school, serving the economy and businesses, with an international perspective and shared values of excellence, integrity and humanism. The academic excellence of the Institut Mines-Télécom is widely recognised. Teacher-researchers from the schools of the Institut Mines-Télécom have also received a number of Awards and Distinctions.
The Institut Mines-Télécom has set itself the brief of supporting companies, and society more generally, through the major transitions of the 21st century: digital, energy, environmental and industrial.
To meet these technological challenges, the school is developing research in 3 main areas of expertise: energy and environment, digital systems, materials and processes. In addition, there is a human and social sciences dimension to analyse the transformations of organisations in the face of the digitisation and internationalisation of companies.
