Faculty of Health and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Health and Sciences teaches a wide range of disciplines and actively engages in various creative activities and projects as well as direct clinical work and fieldwork with people who are health-wise or socially disadvantages. Its scientific and research activities include international cooperation with important institutions and professional centres, but the most important activity is teaching people to help.

Learning at the faculty is closely linked with practice and our aim is to prepare graduates who understand and apply a holistic approach that looks at a person as a whole and ensures that both the body and the mind receive support. As a result of the harmonious combination of these perspectives, we train professionals who understand their profession as a mission.
