Bridging Academic Knowledge and Practical IT Exper
I have built my experience through both my academic background in computer science and my professional role as an IT Manager/System Administrator. This combination has allowed me to develop a strong foundation in managing IT systems, maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of organizational technology environments. In my current role, I am responsible for system performance, user support, and maintaining data integrity, all of which have given me practical exposure to real-world IT challenges. One of the aspects I really liked about my experience is the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations. Solving real technical problems, optimizing system performance, and ensuring business continuity have been particularly rewarding. I also value the continuous learning that comes with working in IT, as each challenge presents an opportunity to improve my skills and stay updated with evolving technologies. Additionally, working in a professional environment has strengthened my teamwork, communication, and time management abilities. In terms of areas for improvement, I recognize that there is a need for deeper specialization, particularly in cybersecurity. While my current role has provided a broad understanding of IT systems, advancing my knowledge in areas such as threat analysis, penetration testing, and advanced security frameworks will further enhance my ability to handle complex security challenges. I also believe that gaining more exposure to international best practices, research methodologies, and advanced tools will significantly improve my overall competence. Overall, my study and professional experience can be summarized as a progressive journey of growth, learning, and practical application. It has provided me with a solid technical foundation and a clear direction toward specializing in cybersecurity. This experience has not only prepared me for further academic pursuit but has also shaped my career aspirations and strengthened my commitment to becoming a highly skilled professional in the field of cybersecurity.
