The history of the TUHH is a history of this kind of success. At few if any German universities have so many reforms been initiated and unconventional approaches been adopted so consistently as at the Hamburg University of Technology. Best of all, these reforms were developed by the TUHH itself. To develop technology for people has been one of the TUHH’s founding missions since 1978.
The TUHH is a compact technical university with a clear profile in research and innovative learning methods where theory and practice meet. Proximity is an important aspect of our dealings with our students. They experience it at first hand during project-based learning in small groups and in close contact with our eminent academic staff. Our goal is to educate creative minds with an individual specialist profile and a high level of social skills. Developing technology for mankind is the focus of our mission statement.
With its areas of expertise and its interdisciplinary structures, the TUHH works in a research-oriented manner, offering groundbreaking research and at the same time a modern, research-oriented and practice-oriented education due to its outstanding staff and equipment. This combination opens up excellent opportunities for graduates on the labor market, regardless of fluctuations in the economic cycle. We have numerous cooperation agreements with major business enterprises and SMEs. We promote cutting-edge research and entrepreneurship. The will to assert ourselves as a top-ranking international university motivates us continually and is the driving force behind the TUHH's success.

As an independent information and communication center the University Library is an important landmark of the TUHH in that it makes available information on the current status of science and technology. The library is not only used internally but as a specialized technical library of the Hamburg region its services are also available to citizens who are not students.
The computing center (RZ) as the central service provider of the TUHH, strives for an excellent quality of service aligned to the needs of its customers. In an attempt to achieve a higher availability of services for all its customers and a fast processing of service requests or incident reports, the computing center of the TUHH established the service desk (SD).
All facilities of the TUHH are located at the campus south of the city. Teaching and learning facilities as well as a student Mensa can all be found here.

The expertise and support of these organisations contributes to the high quality of the programme. In addition to that, the master's degree courses at TUHH have been accredited by ASIIN. ASIIN is a registered German accreditation agency which specialises in accrediting degree programmes from the fields of engineering, informatics/computer science, the natural sciences and mathematics. ASIIN was officially accredited by the German Accreditation Council.
The GTIME program is a mouth full in the name, and that really (positively) translates into the content covered throughout the course. Dense in material and with a variety of different topics covered, I learned a lot from a wide range of topics in the masters program and would recommend it to anyone interested in studying and familiarizing themselves with modern innovation...
My study experience so far despite COVID-19 is great, I don't have the feeling that the digital courses lack any content versus the normal teaching style. The team is very open to feedback and frequently adapts aspects in the courses or organization according to the students' wishes. Lecturers encourage discussion between students and problem-based learning through methods...
The name of the Masters's program is an accurate explanation of what it is. You will find a blend of innovation, technology, and management from a global perspective. The way of teaching is both practical and theoretical. Therefore workshops, events, and special guests are things to be found in most of the subjects. For people like me, who like to learn from practical...
