Overview
As a graduate of the International Master Program Mechatronics, you are able to solve complex problems related to mechatronic systems, their behavior and design, robotics, intelligent and autonomous systems, automation and simulation, etc. You will be able to act methodically, to organize smaller projects, to select new technologies and scientific methods and to advance these further, if necessary.
The program is very interdisciplinary. It is characterized by the fact that it has a high proportion of electives, allowing you to study in a highly individualized way.
Connecting and fusing the disciplines of mechanical, electrical and control engineering as well as computer science is the core competence of modern engineering and especially mechatronics. You gain a broad domain knowledge, learn across disciplines and get to know state of the art and current research problems. This enables you to take a holistic view of the technical systems of tomorrow and contribute in realizing them.
