Çankaya University is an English medium university except for the Faculty of Law, the Vocational School of Justice and Public Relations and Advertising Department. Students who are evaluated to be unqualified for English attend the Preparatory School of English for a year.
The main objective of Cankaya University is to train individuals who are equipped with the universal skills of “accessing information” and “making use of accessed information” that are required by the information age that we live in.

I am currently studying at this University, in the department of Translation and Interpreting Studies. My opinions about this University are pretty good. Firstly, our campus' opportunities are great. We can go have some coffee after classes, we can go to our GYM in our campus, we can go to the library to study for the upcoming exams and so on. We have a preparatory unit at our University, and if you are not able to speak, listen, write, and read the English efficiently, you have to go there because each department in our University is 100% English. The classrooms are pretty efficient as well. In our classes, ( Translation and Interpreting Studies ) There are labs that allows us to do our job. In other departments in our University, there are labs as well. However, because of the fact that I am not studying in one of these programs, I cannot tell you what are they or how they work efficiently. The academic staff of our school is also great. Each one of them have graduated from great Universities all around the world and we are currently getting a pretty high-qualified education here. Transportation to school is all free and it is pretty comfy. I love my school and my campus and whoever is reading this, I invite you there. Thank you:)
My experience at Dpu has been a rollercoaster ride. The strong points of this institution is that it has students from widely diverse backgrounds which stimulates different opinions and encourages active learning. The program i am studying in is highly competitive which gives me the room to work hard and improvise.
I recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in Turkey. My studies gave me a strong theoretical and practical foundation in the field of construction and infrastructure development. Now, I would like to continue my academic journey with a research-based Master’s program in construction, in order to deepen my scientific knowledge and contribute to innovation in this field. Choosing a university abroad is not always easy, since there are so many options. I believe it is important to find an institution that combines academic excellence, research opportunities, and international openness. My goal is to take part in projects that focus on sustainability, innovation, and high-quality engineering. I would encourage other students to clearly define their academic and professional priorities before choosing a study program, as having a clear vision helps in making the best decision for the future.

On the campus of Çankaya University a modern student house for female students -Petek Kız Öğrenci Evi- with modern facilities and high standards was opened as of the academic year 2000-2001. In Petek Kız Öğrenci Evi, we offer to you, our guests, single and double rooms, special suit offers and apartments, all of which have all kinds of comfort. We offer the following facilities:
Students can use our sports hall in suitable hours. Balls, racets etc.are available in the sports center for our students upon the notification of their identification card.
Sport hall located between Block A and Block B and offers free sport activities of to students (Basketball, Voleyball) till four o'clock. In the entrance two locker rooms and shower room for each.
Association for Computing Machinery Club has been established for our students to improve themselves and create a wide communication network by organizing programming competitions, conferences and seminars where engineering speeches will be held with the leading names of the industry on topics such as programming languages and techniques, artificial intelligence, cyber security, robotics for our Engineering Department students.
