The MRes has been very focused and the Professors/teaching fellows/lecturers are very approachable and helpful. I am very glad that I am finishing the MRes in such a prestigious college with such a great support.
The people I met are incredibly driven and aspiring, most lecturers show enthusiasm in teaching and are willing to help when needed. A good split between group projects and lectures in terms of course structure. Workload is quite big, a good balance between academic and social lives are critical.
It was super stressful at times and I got lots of headaches but I met really nice people who shared my interests. I found all the taught content and labs interesting but I know not everyone in my degree feels the same. It definitely is a lot more work-intensive than what my friends from other universities go through.
