The student body, drawn from the United States and some 40 other countries, works together with a distinguished faculty, many of whom have international origins. Facilities include modern classrooms, computer laboratories with Internet access, and an University Library which houses multiple volumes and subscribes to over 50 periodical, and professional journals.
Classrooms are equipped with a projector and white board/chalkboard. Many have monitors with the ability of plug-in access for laptop computers. Students and faculty members can check out computer laptops from the front office with a valid photo IDs. Computer software programs are available from the IT Department based on individual professor’s request for his/her course requirements.
PSU Career Center (E227) contains books on job searching, creating resumes, writing cover letters and interviewing skills. PSU’s Career Services (E219) provides one-on-one counseling, small group workshops, networking events, career and job listings as well as materials to assist students in their career investigations and endeavors. Employment and career advising is also available via appointments.

Pacific States University is located in Los Angeles and is easily accessible by public transportation. PSU offers student housing: Hobart Residence is a stylish, modern dormitory for international students at very affordable rates. Single private rooms, 2 occupancy bedrooms, 3 occupancy bedrooms, and 4 occupancy bedrooms are available. All rooms are conveniently furnished with beds (linens for purchase or rent), a desk, a chair, and a lamp. All of the comforts of home in one great location to share with new international friends!
The library contains a collection devoted to the areas of international business, business management, accounting, hospitality, marketing, investments & finance, real estate management, beauty management, information technology, as well as a variety of books, journals, newspapers, audiovisual materials, reference materials, theses, dissertations and more.
The computer laboratory is equipped with a variety of computers and printers: twenty (20) personal computers; and one laser printer. The computers are connected to one file server using a network operating system. Software is for business applications, word processing, spreadsheets, programming languages, database management, and tutorials.
Students will enjoy Southern California's yearlong outdoor living climate, remarkable especially for its sun-drenched winters. Oceans, mountains, and deserts supply a background of endless beauty in which to work, study, and play. A multi-cultural population lives, works, and dreams in the City of the Angels surrounded by smaller cities, suburbia, and rural California. Entertainment opportunities abound: many professional and collegiate sports teams, amusement parks like Disneyland, zoos with fabulous exhibits, a host of museums, many theaters and movie houses, symphony orchestras, opera companies and all kinds of contemporary music groups.
