History
The University is named for its founder, one of the world’s greatest inventors of earthmoving equipment. , he toured Longview, Texas, with his wife, Evelyn in 1946 to consider a manufacturing site for his next earthmoving equipment factory. While flying over a sprawling complex of a vacated Army hospital consisting of over 200 frame buildings, Mrs. LeTourneau inquired about the facility.
Education

Mission The teaching-focused program at the School of Engineering and Engineering.
Research
LeTourneau University biomedical engineering students Brooke Hayley and Natalie Dottle presented their scientific research at the annual conference of biomedical engineering society held in Atlanta, Georgia, recently.Hayley presented research from two studies.
One was from her junior year last spring in her Biomedical Engineering Research II class taught by Dr. Ko Sasaki. The research is titled “Intact Leg Loading in Simulated Unilateral Transfemoral Amputee Gait” and was coauthored by LETU students Hannah LaVier, Mikalah Iverson, Anthony Moon and Karley Patterson.

I wont because I am a french student in a school who does not take abroad students. So it is just a losing time. We have a good reputation but we are way too small to be known in other countries.

A program that provides practical experience
Overall I am enjoying my study experience with Letourneau. The online program is in a format that is easy with a lot of practical applications through interviews, observations, proposals, etc. You need to be organized but this skill is required for the position you seek. I love how I can connect my learning with my faith in Christ and the fact that I am encouraged to be the best I can be for the sake of my staff, students and community.

Housing services
LeTourneau University provides an educational setting that is distinctive. Emphasis is placed on high academic standards, problem-solving experiences, and spiritual development centered on our faith in Jesus Christ. By choosing to study at LETU, you have also agreed to live by certain guidelines.
Library services
Patrons of the library from LETU (faculty, staff, students) and affiliate members have access to the library during its regularly scheduled hours. Public patrons from the community may access the library from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.

Sports facilities
The Solheim Recreation and Activity Center is LeTourneau University's hub for its 13 men's and women's NCAA Division III athletic teams as well as intramural sports.
