Albright’s early history involves multiple moves and mergers. The College dates its beginning to the founding of Union Seminary in 1856. The present Albright College was formed by a series of mergers with other institutions of higher learning founded in the 19th century by the Evangelical Association and the United Evangelical Church.
Whether you’re a traditional undergraduate student, adult learner, or aspiring graduate student, Albright has the program for you. Traditional students can take advantage of over 50 undergraduate programs we have to offer ranging in everything from accounting to theatre. Adult learners can fast-track a Bachelor’s degree while working full time thanks to our Accelerated Degree Program available through the School of Professional Studies. Our master’s degree program in education offers four majors to meet a variety of interests. We emphasize research-based examination of best teaching practices.
At the Experiential Learning and Career Development Center, we view career development as a lifelong process. However, choices made during the college years are significant in setting the foundation for future professional options. Our services promote better understanding of the career development process by enhancing the linkage of academic and experiential learning experiences thereby improving career preparation and management. Our services extend from first-year through alumni status.

The curriculum was challenging, but it felt real—it wasn’t just memorizing facts, it was about learning how to think critically and apply knowledge. Rooms are generally 12′ x 12.’ Rugs should be 10′ x 10′ to fit comfortably. Rooms are furnished with desks, desk chairs, beds, dressers and closets. All rooms have blinds. Students may bring their own curtains. Beds are oversized twins. You should purchase twin extra-long sheets. All rooms are equipped with a micro-fridge.
Basic cable television and WIRELESS internet services are available in each room upon your arrival to campus. Students are responsible for providing their own television and TV cable cord. All residence hall rooms on campus have air conditioning, and all residence halls provide FREE laundry facilities to resident students.
The Gingrich Library provides information, instruction and other services for the College community's teaching and research needs. Our collection provides the foundation for research and study on all disciplines taught at the College.

The Life Sports Center includes an indoor track and field facility (four lane 1/10 mile track) and can also be used for basketball (four courts), tennis, and a practice facility for other athletic teams. The facility offers a birds-eye view of Shirk Stadium.
