The University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno was founded in 1918. At the moment the university consists of three faculties - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology, and Faculty of Pharmacy.
The VFU Brno is the only university in the Czech Republic specializing in veterinary medicine, veterinary hygiene and ecology, and just one of two teaching pharmaceutical science. It is found within the City of Brno in the city district of Brno - Královo Pole, in the university campus, where all educational and research facilities are located.
Scientific, research and creative activities all form an integral part of the university. These activities take place within the university faculties. To obtain funding , as a rule, the university competes with other applicants for financing from external sources. The most important source of financing are funds for research projects, funds for institutional and specific research projects, a national research programme, grants from grant agencies, contractual research with companies and other possible issuers, including shares for resolving international projects.

I REALLY ENJOYED MY STUDY YEARS AT MOSHOOD ABIOLA POLYTECHNIC AS AN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT. I LIKE PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGY BECAUSE IT EXPOSED ME TO HOW NEW CHEMICAL ENTITY CAN BE TURN INTO A NEW DRUG THAT IS THERAPEUTICALLY EFFECTIVE AND SAFE FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED TO FIND MYSELF WHERE I CAN PARTAKE IN INNOVATIVE AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES.
My experience was great and awesome, I could not improve it anyway. I chose this country because it is cheap, it is in the middle of Europe so it’s worthy to travel knowing a lot of new places not spending too much money and the university give you all the facilities you need as an erasmus student, so it wasn’t difficult at all to pass all the subjects
am studying here for about 6 months and i have met amazing teachers and people there who are very helpful amazing and open minded and its the best university for veterinary studies in my area
