History
Copenhagen Business Academy was founded in 2009.
Until August 2012 Copenhagen Business Academy offered higher education programmes in cooperation with the four following schools: Niels Brock, Copenhagen North, Copenhagen Hospitality College and the Academy of Chemical and Biotechnical Science.
Since 2012 all programmes are administered and offered by Copenhagen Business Academy.

Our goal is to develop the best education for our national and international students by offering professional higher education programmes characterised by diversity and flexibility.
Research
Cphbusiness is a knowledge institution that contributes with new knowledge for use in both private and public industries.Through active participation in research and development, Cphbusiness contributes to provide new knowledge to:
- support the development, competitiveness and growth in both the Danish and the international business community.
- ensure that the academy’s study programmes are built on the latest knowledge about the practices of the current professions and industries.
Career
We offer graduates of Cphbusiness inspiration and concrete tools for career, skills and personal development through the alumni network Cphbusiness Alumni.
Cphbusiness Alumni is a network of graduates (alumni) from Cphbusiness whose purpose is to contribute to a positive career development for you as a graduate through academic activities and sparring. It is free and non-binding to be a member of the network.

Cphbusiness does not have the possibility to provide students with accommodation. Once you are admitted you will receive detailed information about how and where you can find a place to live.
Library services
Cphbusiness has libraries located at our campus in City (Landemærket) and in Lyngby (Nørgaardsvej).
The library in Lyngby contains literature and material for all courses.
The library in City contains literature and material for all courses (except IT and Sport Management) and also services Cphbusiness Søerne (The Lakes) and Cphbusiness Nørrebro. These locations do not have a library of their own.
ICT services
You receive your username and password from the administration office.
- As a student at Cphbusiness you automatically get an e-mail account (username@cphbusiness.dk). This e-mail address is used for all communication between you and the school administration.
Medical services
As soon as you are registered in Denmark, the Danish health insurance entitles you to free emergency medical treatment by a general practitioner and in public hospitals. Upon registering, the municipality will send you the national health insurance card (“sundhedskort”), which you should always carry with you.
Campus life
Cphbusiness has five campuses located in and around Greater Copenhagen and in Northern Zealand. Due to the different locations, the five campuses have their own atmosphere and differ from each other in architecture and surrounding areas.
Student clubs
The student organisation at Cphbusiness is called Cphbusiness Students.
The key purpose of Cphbusiness Students is as follows:
- To act generally informative for the students at Cphbusiness;
- To promote benefits and general conditions for all current and future students at Cphbusiness;
- To safeguard the students interests through student political, professional and social activities.
Accreditation
- The Danish Evaluation Institute (EVA) and the Accreditation Agency ACE Denmark both play an important role in the national system of quality assurance.
