Azad university Science and Research branch
Overall, i had a pleasant 4 year experience in this university. Professors are mostly well enducated and have a lot of knowledge. The environment is refreshing and it has a very large landscape.
What to expect there?
I am currently a student of psychology at Science and Research Branch. I am an Iranian native, though I was not living in Tehran before moving in for university, and I'm here to talk about my experience. I'd like to start by the reasons that why you should pick this university for your study. Firstly, the quality of faculty was all right, and there are some professors that you could really learn a thing or two from. The area of the university is very vast (and connected via free-to-use busses) , and also there is a spacious library that you can use for studying. Access to university wasn't difficult either. There is a special bus line that is connected to two underground stations and many more bus routes that you could take to university. There are also taxi routes leading there. But about downsides; Well, I talked about the faculty, but to be honest, it's quite a 50-50 chance for getting a good one. And also, if you're not a fan of walking, Research and Science branch is not for you as studying here involves a lot of walking - uphills and downhills. And the last note is that if you are not native to Tehran, the cost of accommodation could be on the more expensive side as the university doesn't offer dormitories.
A good university among azad branches
The university is fully equipped and has great lecturers. They offer different medical programs in different degrees.
