EADA is the first business school in Barcelona, created in 1957 by a group of businessmen and professionals as an independent institution, both from an ideological and economic point of view. Since 1984, EADA has been a private, non-profit foundation dedicated to training, applied research and the transfer of knowledge to the business world and society in an international context.

In 2025 I studied in EADA Business School, a university partner of Skema Business School. It was my third year on uni, and I got to experience the best parts of Barcelona. The city is amazing, a great place to live and to sightsee. The EADA Campus is extremely tech, with everything being new and always tidy. I learned a lot on how to interact and work with others from different cultures, since it�s a school were there�s people from all over. The uni mixes the classes each semester, so you get to study with lots of different people. The faculty members were extremely organized with everything regarding exams, calendar and more. Living abroad was one of the best decision I have ever made, it was incredible to spend this year learning new skills, not only school related, but for life, a growth in maturity terms that I possibly wouldn�t have had in other places. Being able to travel to different places with friends, learning how to manage my own house, and learning how to be apart from my family were the main highlights when it comes to the actual experience besides uni. I believe that everyone that has an opportunity should pursue this chance.
The university is well managed and, I believe, driven by positive values. Its programs focus on impacting students' careers in depth, resulting in many opportunities to network, find out more about ourselves and go further than our limits.
Studying at EADA Business School was a very intense and practical experience. What stood out immediately was how international the environment is (not in marketing terms), but in the actual classroom dynamic. You end up working with people from very different countries, professional backgrounds, and ways of thinking, which makes even simple group discussions more interesting and at times, more challenging than at a traditional university. One of the strongest aspects of EADA is that many professors have ongoing industry or consulting experience. Some classes felt less like lectures and more like professional workshops. The Principles of Modern Management and Economics modules especially benefited from this approach because professors consistently made it clear that theory was secondary to understanding real business situations, current markets, and companies they had personally worked with. The methodology is not necessarily participation-heavy in the traditional sense. Whether you are someone who prefers quietly taking notes in the back or being the front-row hand-raiser, EADA can accommodate both. With classes of around 25�35 students and fixed groups for each semester, the constant projects and presentations allow teams to naturally settle into roles and working dynamics. At times, the amount of teamwork can become repetitive, especially when group quality varies, but it does prepare you for real business environments where you rarely work alone, or only with people you choose. Campus life is more professional than traditional university life, largely because the �campus� itself is essentially one building with several floors and designated departmental offices. Barcelona therefore becomes a major part of the overall experience, which is both a strength and a criticism of EADA. Networking events, internships, startup culture, and the international social scene are all around the corner, and EADA does make efforts to engage students with them. One example is the Dean bringing in guest speakers every month of the academic year, with average attendance often reaching around 50 students from both the bachelor�s and master�s programs. However, EADA could do much more in this area. As someone who ran two student clubs during my two years there, I found that student initiatives could sometimes be slowed down or even blocked by the bureaucratic nature of the institution. There is ambition among the students, but at times the administration struggles to move at the same speed. Overall, EADA is strongest for students looking for a hands-on, international, and business-oriented experience. A key reminder for future students is that EADA can become much more than just classes and assignments if you are willing to push past the early bureaucratic hurdles, create momentum yourself, and continue building initiatives so the students after you can carry the next cycle of extracurricular activity forward.

The institution's main campus is located in the centre of Barcelona, at Aragó 204.
This building was completely and comprehensively remodelled in 2019, with eight floors designed to offer high-quality training and services.
Its prime location makes it easily accessible by public or private transport.
The new Campus 2 became operational in January 2023 and is situated on Carrer Provença 216, in the very heart of Barcelona and a five-minute walk from Campus 1.
The Collbató Campus, Campus 3, is a residential training centre located 40km outside Barcelona in the town of Collbató.
