In July 2014, the activities of the Mathematics courses were started in Joaíma; and Technologist in Public Management, in Pompéu. 

These courses provide students with the opportunity to enter the job market in a more prepared manner, making them more competitive in the face of market challenges. CEPT is a reference in offering mid-level courses in the health area, being responsible for the Technical School of Health (ETS), linked to the Network of Technical Schools of the SUS. The unit is also responsible for the courses in Technology in Public Management (Montes Claros and Pompéu) and in Agribusiness (Paracatu) and for the courses of the National Program
