History
In May 1992, the Jaén University Campus Technical & Academic Committee was created, paving the way for the University of Jaén (UJA) to be officially founded on 1 July 1993 under Law 5/1993 from the Andalusian Parliament. A management committee, created on 7 September 1993, was responsible for building the University of Jaén from the bottom up.
Education
Academic offer: 96 Degrees in the areas of Humanities, Education, Experimental Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, Social Work and Engineering. Multi-language courses are designed in all the above areas for international students and the following degrees are taught entirely in English:

Robust program
The program is quite robust, offering an ideal blend of design and engineering for architecture, which creates a well-balanced learning experience. Additionally, the professors are often successful, practicing professionals in their fields, which makes the courses more engaging and relevant. However, the school tends to be less selective, leading to a wide range of students' knowledge and skill levels. As a result, the course pace can slow down to ensure that everyone grasps even the basic concepts.
Cooperative faculty
The facilities are excellent, and the learning environment is supportive, with a very cooperative faculty. The curriculum is well-structured, ensuring students gain comprehensive knowledge in their fields. Additionally, the university offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, providing a balanced student experience. The admission process is quick and easy.
It’s been a good experience.
The studies at this university have been interesting and enjoyable. You can study here without too many issues. There are many Erasmus students, and classes are offered in both Spanish and English. The university also has a diverse faculty with many international teachers, and it offers a wide range of bachelor's and master's programs across various fields.

Student services
This institution has a long tradition of international exchange: more than 1,000 partner institutions in more than 60 countries of Europe, America, Asia and Oceania (over 1,000 incoming and 650 outcoming).
Moreover, around 200 international students are studying a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program in UJA. From 2016, UJA offers scholarships for excellent international students who wish to study a Bachelor or Master Degree at this University.
These scholarships cover up to 100% of the tuition fees for the whole degree besides a grant of €2,200 (BA Degree)/ €3,000 (MA Degree) per year and candidate.
