The National Autonomous University of Mexico was founded on September 21, 1551 under the name of the Royal and Pontifical University of Mexico.

The faculty of psychology in UNAM has a lot of courses in neuropsychology which is very hard to find in Mexico. In general the teachers are very good and they want you to learn. The only thing that I think is needed in UNAM is that they teach us how much money we should earn doing the different applications as a psychologists
UNAM has a big campus and lots of opportunities, however, I found their sociology program deeply biased towards an institutional focus, which I didn't enjoy. This allows the student to expand in a very reduced profesional area, not to mention the hardships of the Mexican politics, media, academia and teaching (most likely the fields you'll end up in).
