History

Founded in 1824, the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) continues the tradition of excellence in education, research and patient care.

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is the premier biomedical research institution in South Carolina, with a record of more than $284 million in research funding in Fiscal Year 2019. Library services

This facility is centrally located on the Horseshoe for the convenience of students, faculty, and staff. Situated on the second through the fourth floors of the building, the library contains collections and information systems to support curriculum, research, and the patient care goals of the institution.
