10/1952 East China Institute of Chemical Technology was founded with the approval of the central government. It was the first single-subject chemical institute in China and was formed through the consolidation of the chemical departments of Jiaotong University, Aurora University, Utopia University, Soochou University and Jiangnan University.
The university has 16 academic schools, namely School of Chemical Engineering, School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering ,School of Biotechnology, School of Pharmacy ,School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Information Science and Engineering, School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, School of Resources and Environment Engineering, School of Business, School of Social and Public Administration, School of Science, School of Art Design and Media, School of Foreign Languages, School of Law, School of Sports Science and Engineering, School of Marxism.

It was a wonderful and inspiring experience because I am a teacher while schooling. I might say I learnt a lot.
I am studding in Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan. 7 ranked university of Pakistan. I have good study experience in this university especially in Department of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology the reason is that at least 3 to 4 papers are published in every year on Energy production from waste and remediation of environmental pollution from microorganism.
I learned something basic knowledge of fish.and I aslo about breeding, feeding and fish disease l did two months Practical Course Advance aquaculture and management. I am in University BS-Part-2 Second year

ECUST is comprised of more than 1.7 million square meters on 3 campuses. The main campus, being 17 kilometers from Hongqiao Airport and 45 kilometers from Pudong International Airport, is situated in the prosperous and energetic Xuhui District.
