Extra-curricular activities play an important role at RANEPA. Beyond the classroom there are a multitude of opportunities for self-fulfillment. Upon enrollment students are offered opportunities to participate in sports events, intellectual battles, various competitions and special interest clubs.
On RANEPA Moscow campus, students are assigned to double rooms that include a shared bathroom, mini-fridge, TV, and bed and a study desk for each student. Each residence floor is equipped with a kitchen, recreation room, and resident assistant’s quarters, who offers help with everyday issues.
The library stock exceeds 1,000,000 items in Russian and foreign languages. The history of the RANEPA research library dates back to the XX-th century. The library stock originates from the library of the A.L.Shanyavsky Moscow City People’s University (1908–1918).
RANEPA organizes various sports that include ice hockey, football, volleyball, karate and basketball; chess tournaments and other competitions. RANEPA’s teams are successful in university competitions. A group of cheerleaders support our teams and thrill fans with their skill.
RANEPA is more than cutting-edge academic programs, lectures and seminars by top professors and grueling exams: it also offers the many attractive opportunities for student social life! Making student life enjoyable is the task of the Student Council, that brings students together on the basis of common interests. RANEPA student community organizes activities to develop key qualities in our students, such as initiative, self-confidence, leadership and teamwork. The mission of The Student Council is to provide as comfortable conditions for students’ education, development and recreation as possible.
